Terms of Service
Effective: October 2026 — NASSAB Platform
1. Intended use
NASSAB is for recording, organising, exploring and preserving family and historical genealogy records.
2. Historical-record limitations
Genealogical records often rely on historical documents, oral traditions, and user submissions. NASSAB does not guarantee that every recorded lineage is historically accurate, and disputed lineage claims are marked transparently within the platform.
3. User-submitted information
Users submitting updates confirm the information is accurate to the best of their knowledge and does not violate third-party copyrights or privacy rights.
4. Disputed claims
Disputed claims are not silently overwritten. They are marked for review, and evidence is noted where available.
5. Certificate limitations
Lineage certificates carry a SHA-256 hash to support document-integrity checking. A hash alone does not establish who issued a document, and certificates are not blockchain verified and are not legally certified proof of ancestry.
6. Intellectual property
NASSAB application software, graph resolution algorithms, and visual branding are developed by CyberFantics. Public-domain genealogical facts remain part of open family heritage.
7. Acceptable use and availability
Do not use NASSAB to harass, misrepresent living individuals, or submit information you do not have a right to share. The service is in closed testing, so availability may change, and no release date is promised here.
