Features
Features, in plain terms.
NASSAB is organised around family, kinship, history, records and privacy — not a list of unrelated tools.
Showing 5 of 5 groups
Group A — Family and lineage
Complete family relationships. Biological and extended relationships. Equal female and male representation, so daughters, mothers and female ancestors are mapped with complete context. Remarriages and step-relations, including divorces, multiple marriages, half-siblings and step-children, without duplicate records. Relationship explanations, using the nearest shared ancestor to explain how two people are related.
Group B — Kinship and understanding
Rada'at kinship, recorded as its own relationship type. Mahram and marriage eligibility, interpreted from the recorded kinship structure, undetermined where evidence is missing, never guessed, and not presented as a final religious or legal authority. Marriage history, kept distinct by marriage. Parent-child relationship structure. Relationship exploration, including finding how two people are related.
Group C — Historical exploration
Explore historical people, with search and read-only historical records where applicable. Horizontal family tree. Fan chart, with paternal and maternal routes. Individual person profiles. Marriage history and children, kept distinct by marriage.
Group D — Records and preservation
Evidence and dispute tracking, with relationships backed by documents, manuscripts or oral testimony where recorded, and disputed claims marked transparently. Secure digital archiving in a cloud-synced structure. Record updates and verification through the Records page. Lineage certificates with SHA-256 document-integrity checking. Chronicle PDF and Serial ID verification.
Group E — Privacy and access
Privacy by design. Masking personal details of living individuals. Access restrictions and family-aware permissions. Guest historical exploration. Read-only access where applicable.
