Privacy Policy
Last updated: October 2026 — NASSAB Platform
1. Protection of living individuals
Exact birthdates, contact information, and personal details of living individuals are restricted and masked from public indexing unless explicit permission is provided by the record owner. Protected female names are masked, and guest exploration is read-only where applicable.
2. Access restrictions
Family information is restricted according to access permissions. Masking is part of access control, not only a display choice.
3. Information supplied through contact channels
When you submit record updates, documents, or inquiries by email or WhatsApp, your contact details are used for verification and correspondence about your request.
4. Locally stored form submissions
Record-update tickets created on the Records page are stored in your browser only, unless you choose to send them by email or WhatsApp. Clearing browser storage or changing devices may remove them. No secure cloud storage is promised for local tickets.
5. Correction and deletion requests
If you are a living member represented in NASSAB and wish to correct, update, or request redaction of your personal record, contact digital.creator380@gmail.com. Requests are handled on a case-by-case basis, and historical records for deceased individuals may be retained as part of the heritage archive.
6. Record accuracy and retention
Genealogical records may rely on historical documents, oral traditions, and user submissions. Disputed claims are marked transparently. Retention is limited to what is needed for the heritage record and for handling requests, where actually known.
7. Contact
For privacy requests, use the Contact page or email digital.creator380@gmail.com. No absolute confidentiality or security is claimed.
